In conjunction with the worldwide growth of operations, the company introduced Harrison Assessments (HA) to innovate and standardise their recruitment, selection, and talent development strategies across the globe. The objective was to determine and develop the profile of new and existing talents who would be suitable for roles within the worldwide network; to increase the speed-to-hire for these positions; to improve the quality of the hired candidates; to develop existing talents; and strengthen succession plans.
The Work We Did
Serving all countries globally with a standard operating process and service level in talent acquisition through a Managed Service, Harrison Assessments Malaysia team managed the administration of the online assessment, applicant tracking, monitoring and reports. This alleviates the administration process for HR and allowed HR and Hiring Managers to focus on the important hiring decision and develop strategies for their talent pool. Job Success Profiles library created in HA facilitated standard criteria for jobs across countries and ensured objective assessment.
The globally shared database of Job Success Profiles consisting of knowledge, skills, experience and behaviours that would make a positive or negative impact on job performance, ensured there is standardisation in the recruitment criteria. The information in HA reports provided insights into recruitment decisions and behaviours of new staff members to help the company transition them into the team with much more success.
The talent acquisition assessment has enabled HR to implement its strategic recruitment role effectively with time efficiency and broad global reach.
